The Queen Bey’s fans are none too pleased about Beyonce’s Grammy snub. At the 2017 Grammy awards, the winner for Album of the year went to Adele. Beyonce’s monumental Lemonade Album was favored among her many fans to win the coveted award. But after the disappointing let down the audience was left feeling that the Grammy Awards have, “a whiteness problem.” This was not the first time the entertainment award show has garnered anger and disappointment and been labeled racist.

Beyonce is the most nominated female artist in history. But she has yet to win the album of the year. Only ten black artists have ever won the album of the year; they include Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Natalie Cole, Quincy Jones, Lionel Richie, Herbie Hancock, Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, Outkast, and Michael Jackson.
