Bill Cosby has tapped Michael Jackson’s former lawyer Tom Mesereau as the new legal whiz for his November retrial.
Mesereau famously won an acquittal at Jackson’s 2004 child molestation trial.
He will now spearhead Cosby’s fight against sex assault charges after the comedian’s first trial in Norristown, Pa., ended with a hung jury in June.
“I’m not saying anything other than I can confirm that Attorney Kathleen Bliss and I are going to be the lead lawyers in the case,” Mesereau told the Daily News Monday, declining to comment on the merits of Cosby’s three felony charges.
