Japan is the latest to join the move toward a new level of government control over every aspect of the live of their citizens.  Their move in the Orwellian vision-passing controversial legislation that gives prosecutors the power to monitor and arrest people in the planning stages of crime.  The new measure will apply 277 types of crimes which include some very pedestrian offenses such as copyright violations.

Some believe the new legislation will be a means to control unruly citizens looking to “object to government decisions.”  For those it has become apparent that the government in an effort to protect their nations from terrorism despite the increased funding is now undermining their own constitutions which are designed to guarantee liberty even when faced with grave threats to security.
